Who we are:

We are a community-run establishment that supports empowerment and conservation.  Upon arrival, you will be greated by the Women for Conservation members who are busy making one-of-a-kind handicrafts, which are for sale in our giftshop.  There are clean, modern restrooms to freshen up after the long drives on Ugandan roads.  The women also operate a vegetable garden, which are used to prepare dishes at the Simba Cafe as well as growing and harvesting coffee beans, which are packaged and offered for sale.

What we have to offer:

We offer a variety of snacks, meals, and drinks.

Why the name Simba Cafe:

Simba is the Swahili word for lion.  The Simba Cafe is a part of our projects, which includes community initiatives to promote lion conservation.  By visiting the Simba Cafe, you support the conservation of lions and other wildlife.

How you can help us:

We are in the process of paying off a loan for the expansion of the Simba Cafe.  You can make a donation on-site, or donate online via the USA-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Sahaya International, so your donation is tax-deductible.  Click here to go to the donation page to support Simba Cafe.
